PENGARUH MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MTS NEGERI 1 MAJENE

Abstract

This study is an ex-post facto type with a quantitative approach that aims to determine the description of learning motivation and mathematics learning outcomes and the influence of learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes of students at MTS Negeri 1 Majene. The independent variable in this study is learning motivation, while the dependent variable in this study is mathematics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all 28 students of MTS Negeri 1 Majene, while the sample was 28 people with a sampling technique of purposive sampling. The research data were obtained by distributing printed questionnaire sheets, as well as the results of students' daily test learning obtained through class teachers. The data analysis technique used was Simple Linear Regression Analysis. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the mathematics learning outcomes were in the high category, with an average student score of 85.3929. The results of the simple linear regression coefficient data analysis obtained the calculated t value = 0.866 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted, which means there is a real (significant) influence of variable X on variable Y.
