PENGARUH BIMBINGAN PRA-NIKAH REMAJA USIA SEKOLAH (BRUS) DALAM UPAYA MENCEGAH PERNIKAHAN DINI

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Pre-Marriage Guidance program for School-Age Adolescents (BRUS) in an effort to prevent early marriage. Early marriage is still a serious problem in Indonesia because it has an impact on reproductive health, education, and the mental readiness of adolescents in fostering a household. The BRUS program organized by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Cikampek District, Karawang Regency is a form of educational intervention that aims to provide adolescents with an understanding of healthy and responsible marriage. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to school-age adolescents who participate in the BRUS program. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of the study show that there is a positive and significant influence between the implementation of the BRUS program on the prevention of early marriage. Thus, the BRUS program has proven to be effective in increasing adolescents' awareness of the importance of readiness to enter marriage.
